Why we make
Cobble Studio is a woodworking studio based in Toronto, Canada. We design and handcraft wooden cups and everyday woodenware.
With 无常 (anitya) in mind, we hope to make things that offer a small sense of permanence in an ever-changing world. A cup to keep you company as time goes by.
Our work ends when the making is done, but the story continues in the hands of those who use it.
COBBLE
Over time, nature shapes rough stones into smooth pebbles. We do much the same with wood, shaping each piece by hand. Like a pebble picked up along a riverbank, each piece finds a home of its own.
